As an attorney at Morrison Mahoney, LLP, Mr. Shipkevich litigated complex insurance coverage, financial institutions, and general liability cases as well as advised on litigation strategies through trial, settlement and mediation. In 2006, Mr. Shipkevich was elected as Vice President and General Counsel at Capital Market Services, LLC where he became actively involved in the multifaceted structure of the futures industry and was responsible for the supervision of the firm’s offices located in New York, Bermuda, Saint-Petersburg, Tokyo and Shanghai. Mr. Shipkevich is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut and is also admitted to practice before U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He obtained his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from SUNY Binghamtom.

He earned his J.D. and certificate in business law from Brooklyn Law School and his B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Farkas is a J.D. candidate at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he is focusing in intellectual property, commercial law, and dispute resolution. At Cardozo, he works with the Courtroom Advocates Project, advocating on behalf of victims of domestic violence. He serves as Managing Editor of The Cardozo Jurist. Mr. Farkas is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association. He is also a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the American Bar Association. A graduate of Vassar College, Mr. Farkas holds his B.A. in History and Political Science (cum laude) with a minor in Art History.
